Very cool game, good graphics, interesting gameplay

During the recent Olympiad there was a setting somewhere to choose between the High Definition video stream (also known as "freezes-doesnt work") and the Standard stream (aka "works fine"). Now Im trying to watch the Sinquefield Cup and as far as I can tell the latest version of the app has removed this setting, leaving the HD default as the only choice. So on my devices at least (both my iPhone 5 and a recent vintage iPad), it wont work. Video plays for about 10 seconds, then freezes (audio continues streaming).

They claim Kevin is a 500 rating and is a "noob" but hes harder to beat than the middle rated computer. Kevin moves too fast and the middle moves too slow. Nice app but cut down the Fin computer strength.

A great app for a company just starting out. The broadcast is great. I enjoyed watching Olympiad. Watching the Sinquifeld cup was fantastic. The commentary was great, and being able to play lines on the board and explore was awesome. All I had to do was hit one button to go back to the live board they were commenting on. Only negative is premium members should get a lot more.

I have lost several games when my opponents clock runs out, not mine. App clock seems quite inaccurate when time is running low. Also, no sounds on ipad2 even when turned on. Would be nice to have landscape view and chat feature, as with the online version. Otherwise, nice interface and fun to play.

Will keep installed, but not using it often due to no landscape mode.

Have tried nearly every chess app available and have been surprisingly pleased with the top ones. Unfortunately, Ive found Chess24 to be most disappointing. Its problems start with a really bad design and ends with being educationally confusing. IMO, apps like Crafty and Chess Pro are light years ahead of this sophomoric new entry.

Where chess24 shines is in its live broadcasts. You get basically full access without paying a dime.

One of the best chess app. Live events with grandmaster live analysis, chess tactics, play against computer, play against other players. Professional interface, professional level for commentary. This app is great for beginners and advanced players all the way to IMs and GMs ( grandmasters). Highly recommended !

The chess 24 app is shutting down every time you try to go to any function. Anyone else having the same problem? This started to happen yesterday 12/20/15.

App used to be good, now crashes when you click on anything. For example, launch tactics trainer. App shuts off. Go back into it. Try and watch a live tournament. App shuts down. Terrible!

iOS live stream is broken... Its being fixed though ;) I dont use this app for games (Shredder), but its the greatest for news and tournament broadcasts
